The Pen 15 Story
At a college with no film program and $400 in their pockets, three rubes formed Pen15 Production Company. Not knowing any better, in 2002 they made a feature film, The Fifteen Minute Show. The film was an instant hit worldwide (and by worldwide we mean Greencastle, Indiana) with a premier drawing over 300 attendees (none forced against their will). After making a splash in Indiana, one of the true Mecca’s of film, they tested out other markets. And in September of 2003, they landed a showing at the New York International Film and Video Festival in Los Angeles. Completing three short films since, today the production company is stronger than ever. Their latest film, The Lift, has been accepted into five film festivals and they continue to submit it for consideration.
